From Paper & Spreadsheets to National Infrastructure

In 2022, the Greek Atomic Energy Commission (EEAE)—established in 1954 and re-established in 1987, operating under Law 4310/2014—relied on a fragmented ecosystem of 40-year-old Actian Ingres databases, 100+ Excel spreadsheets, and paper-based workflows. With 69 highly trained regulatory staff and responsibilities as an IAEA Regional Training Center, EEAE needed a secure, internal platform to manage ionizing radiation oversight across Greece—unavailable to the public, strictly for registrar staff managing licensing, inspections, and compliance operations.
